We have a series of data sets that require re-working so that they meet a specific template. For example, we may have full first name in one cell, however we require this in the format first name, middle name, surname. We may also have the full address in one field, that requires splitting out into address line 1, address line 2, town , county, postcode.

    Hi,
    Can we have a sample of the data and tell us how many rows in total need cleaning/re-formatting?
    If I was to do it i'd put the data into a database and process it there rather than in excel itself.
