Description

I am looking for help breaking down how many miles a person drives in each state and how much fuel the person purchases in each state. If you see the beginning odometer field on the top right of the page and subtract it from the first line of odometer reading you would have a total of 246 traveled in CA. If you do the next line you will have 294 miles traveled in AZ. For the fuel you will simply need to add the number of gallons to the right side of the page according to state. I have roughly 200 of these reports. Some will have a lot more numbers to punch in than others, and most of the reports have multiple pages.
I also attached a second page with 3 calculations that I did. If you can see in the pink highlighted area, this was the beginning of the travel. His beginning odometer is 724,516. When exited California his odometer was 724,814. So you would subtract the 724,516 from 724,814, which would leave you with 298 miles. This is how many miles he traveled in California. On the next line he exited Arizona with an odometer of 725,238; therefore you would subtract 724,814 from 725,238, which tells you that he traveled 424 miles in Arizona. I have written the calculations for the first 3 in red.
For fuel on the right hand side you would just need to add up all the California gallons and the Arizona gallons. He only purchased 36.437 in Arizona so the rest you add up would be all California.
