Hello There,
I have a 441 page PDF and I need 8 fields from the PDF to be copied and then Pasted into Excel ... see attached samples.
What I want to Achieve
I need a spreadsheet of landlords (property owners) information, those who have had a licence to let their property which is above a certain size.
I will then be manipulating the data to select the type of landlord I want to target for a mailing campaign.
Deliverables
I would like the PPHer to fill in the attached 'Empty Spreadsheet.xlsx' by going through a PDF document and copying the data out of it. I will provide them with the PDF document when the job is awarded (see 'Sample of PDF.png' to get an idea of the source data).
The PPHer should fill the spreadsheet with with these 8 fields from the PDF;
1) Licence Ref
2) Address
3) Licencee Name
4) Licencee Address
5) Licencee Manager
6) Max Unit
7) App Unit
8) Expiry Date
The PDF has 441 pages so there will be 441 rows of data in the Excel spreadsheet.
Timescales
The finished spreadsheet should be delivered no later than Sunday 10th April 2016.
I timed myself and it takes approximately 35 – 45 seconds per record. Taking a max of 50s x 441 records = 6 – 7 hours to get through the data set. I would like the PPHer to check their own work by looking at the spreadsheet and ensuring the data is going into the correct fields. The job should be done in max 10 hours.
Skills / Experience
Very basic computer skills are required to simply copy and paste data.
Familiarity with MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
Attention to detail is important.
Previous experience isn’t important as long as the person has good attention to detail. Therefore when you apply, please ask me about Green Llamas in order to be considered.
The job may be easier if the PPHer has a Keyboard, Mouse and two screens.
I would suggest the PPHer follows the Pomodoro technique and work in 25 minute chunks and have a 5 minute break.
