Data collection from websites 2

PLEASE READ updated description of job and see attachment which I had accidentally missed off last time. The attached excel file shows all the CCG (Clinical Commissioning Groups in England).

The basic information can be obtained from:
http://www.nhs.uk/ServiceDirectories/Pages/CCGListing.aspx

Almost all practices will have their own website from which the remaining information can be obtained. Please do not rely on the nhs.uk data as this is sometimes out of date. This website can however sometimes provide the actual practice website address. For other practices you will need to 'google' the practice name in order to find the website. The practice website will have the most reliable data. Occasionally data will be missing so please leave out if you cannot find.

For each YELLOW HIGHLIGHTED CCG please list (separate tabs if possible in 1 Excel File):

a) number of practices in each CCG (my excel file shows an estimate only - there will be a total of about 2200-2400 practices for all of the yellow highlighted CCGs combined, so on average about 60 practices per CCG)

Then for each practice in the YELLOW HIGHLIGHTED CCG groups please list:

a) Telephone number
b) Name of Practice Manager (BEWARE: this is not the same as ‘Registered Manager' (which is usually a Doctor’) OR in separate column ‘Practice Administrator’ or ‘Deputy/Assistant Practice Manager’ if name of practice manager cannot be found
c) Practice website link showing doctors’ names at the practice e.g. http://albionstreetgrouppractice.co.uk/staff1.aspx?t=1
d) 1st and 2nd doctors’ full names (1 column for each)

Once you start the job you will need to send a sample of the excel file after about 40 practices just so that I know the correct data is being collected. The 2nd attachment gives an example.
