Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
We require 5060 job titles to be matched to the closest job titles found in another list. There are no exact matches in the lists, so the job requires individuals with good general knowledge of job titles to scan the second list for the most suitable match. Upon completion of the job we will review the quality of a random sample of the mappings.
You will be provided with a single spreadsheet that contains 10300 job titles in column A, and the 5300 job titles to match with in column D. Upon finding the closest match, you will copy a number corresponding to the matched job title from column E, and paste it in column B. See the attached screenshot which should make this clear.
Some of the job titles are misspellings or alternative spellings and can be matched easily with the correct job title. Others will require careful consideration against the available options, and some might not be matchable at all (and will have to be skipped).
Please provide your fixed price quotation for all 5060 matches and number of days needed to complete the job.

Hi Geir. Just a few clarifications.
1. Are titles to be matched within close numbers of each other or are there situations when one has to scan through hundreds of entries in the next column to get a match?
2. Is it possible for entries in column D to have more than one match in column A and if so what should one do.
3. In case of misspellings, any room for editing the spelling before or after matching?
If you wouldn't mind, I could do with an invitation.
Thanks
