Batch job transferring excel charts to word documents

I am preparing 260 Word reports and need all-ready prepared excel charts pasted into each report. Each individual report has around 20 bespoke charts that need to be pasted into the report in the appropriate place. I also want the completed reports converted into pdf.
I don’t think there is a way of automating this job so it is likely that it has to be done manually. It is a fiddly job that needs patience to ensure that each chart is placed correctly and aligned to the corresponding box and sized properly. I estimate that it takes about 10 minutes to complete each report.
All the charts have been prepared on individual excel worksheets in a single workbook. The charts from the matching worksheet need to be pasted into the corresponding report e.g. charts from worksheet Primary ‘53’ need to be pasted into the Word report titled Primary ‘53’. There are three different report types - Primary (190), Secondary (47) and FE (27) – each with a different range of charts.
Each Word report has a generic chart already present for each of the 20 odd charts required. You will need to delete that holding chart and replace it with the relevant chart from the appropriate worksheet.
You will need to do a trail run, producing a report for me to check before proceeding.
All completed reports need to be provided in Word to be checked. Once approved, the final reports must be provided in Word and pdf formats.
