Description
Experience Level: Expert
About the project
We’re a UK consultancy running an outbound email campaign for an Australian safety-technology company. Its instruments measure blast pressure on real sites, and are used by engineers who design buildings to resist explosions or who manage explosives safely.
We already have a structured workbook: about 300 existing contacts, 222 named leads without emails, and 79 target companies. We need a specialist to fill in the gaps and bring the list up to standard.
Who we’re targeting (commercial organisations only)
Blast / protective design engineering consultancies
Commercial unexploded ordnance (UXO) clearance contractors
Explosive demolition contractors
Explosives manufacturers and process-safety / facility-siting teams
Mining and quarry blast consultants, blast test ranges, and makers of blast-resistant products
The roles we want are Technical Director, Principal or Senior Blast Engineer, Explosives Engineer, Explosives Safety Adviser, Head of Testing and Practice Leader.
What you’ll get and have to do
Clean the existing list. About 125 rows are already flagged. Delete off-target companies, merge duplicates, and replace wrong or personal emails with correct work emails.
Find and verify emails for 222 named leads. These are prioritised A/B/C, and A comes first.
Find 2–3 named decision-makers at each of 79 target companies, with verified emails.
Add every verified contact to the master list in the format provided.
Deliverable
The completed workbook, aiming for 400–600 verified, in-scope contacts. Each contact needs:
full name, job title, company, website and country;
a verified work email, plus a phone number where available;
the URL where you found the person (required).
Quality rules (non-negotiable)
Every email must be checked with a verifier such as NeverBounce, ZeroBounce or Hunter. Only “deliverable” results count, not “accept-all” or “unknown”. We need to see evidence this carried out for each batch.
Work emails only. No Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook or other personal addresses.
Use company websites, press releases, conference papers, Companies House and industry-body lists as sources. LinkedIn must not be the source of record.
No military, government or defence-prime contacts.
Confirm people are still in post where the source is more than two years old.
No duplicates, and flag UK sole traders and partnerships, which have extra email consent rules.
How we’ll work
The successful applicant will contract to bid to do a paid trial first: 20 priority-A leads. We QA the trial before releasing the main job.
After the trial, milestone payments once all listed companies have been trawled for verified contacts. We spot-check about 10% of each batch. If more than 5% bounce or turn out to be the wrong person, the batch goes back for rework at no extra cost.
Daily progress update required.
Timeline: [1] week from the end of the trial.
Budget: [Bid with a fixed price free to £x for paid trial , or £X per verified contact]. Please quote both a trial price and a full-job price. Indicative budget per hundred accurate contacts. Take into account the named companies to target are already researched - this is simply a 'gap-filling exercise '. Quote fixed price to complete all within 1 week from start of contract.
To apply, please tell us:
Which email verification tool you use, and your typical bounce rate.
How you find emails for people at small specialist firms that don’t publish staff details.
A brief example of a similar niche B2B research job (engineering, industrial or technical).
Your expected turnaround to complete the exercise and verify contacts.
Applications that don’t answer these four questions won’t be considered.
