Automated MS Word form with 'IF' functions, collapsible tables etc

Hello, we are introducing a Project information Management system that at this stage only populates templates that are in MS Word. I would like to automate/customise this form as much as possible through the use of 'IF' functions and other developer features that make the form more relevant & customised based on the responses to the input fields.

The main functionality I would need help with is the 'IF' formulas, collapsing tables, adding fields based on either a button or data entry into a field.

I have the outline of the form but haven't included any functions/formulas.
