Experience Level: Expert
Urgent need for a Temporary HR Advisor. Support is required for Association with significant staffing problems. Last CEO in dispute with the Association. He is currently suspended pending staff hearing on disciplinary grounds. Disciplinary process needs to be confirmed. Contracts and Handbook in place. HR Committee (to take the hearing) appointed and ready. Peninsula advising the Association.
Likely costs of an Industrial Tribunal need to be evaluated. Paper to be written to Board before 9th Feb to allow Board to compare to likely costs of a compromise agreement. Followup work to include presence at the Tribunal itself.
4 days work in next four weeks.
Later a staff job appraisal can be run for the remaining staff. Revision to JDs and line management instructions. 4 further days work. Assessments can be run in March.
Report to Board through executive chairman (available at site three days weekly).
Location is central Manchester
