Description
Experience Level: Entry
Research assistants will have simple tasks. The main task is to act as a recruiter assistant and find qualified candidates to fill the positions I send you. Additionally, you may also be assigned to find information and compile it into a list on a certain theme. For now, however, research in the form of recruiter assistance is the priority. Details are below. If you're interested I will send you a contractual agreement to review and sign.
MAIN JOB: 1. Find qualified candidates:
If you are applying to be a research assistant it is expected that you have access to candidate databases such as Monster.com, Indeed.com, Careerbuilder.com, etc. While it is possible to complete this assignment with free databases like Craigslist, Postjobfree, and sometimes LinkedIn - it’s more time consuming and less effective.
The candidate needs to be actively seeking a position, so select the most recently updated accounts or posts. Within 1 week or a few days is preferable, but aim for LESS than 30 days of job-seeking. The research you forward to me will only need to consist of the qualified candidate's:
Name
Phone Number
Email Address
Attachment: Resume (jpg, PDF, or Word doc. If you have to copy/paste their resume, then paste it into a Word doc, save it under their name, and attach it to the email)
At the end of each week (or sooner) I will let you know which candidates were acceptable. When it's close to your pay day you will be responsible for sending me an invoice of all the accepted candidate research you've done during the work period. ***
RARE OCCASIONS: 2. Find information on a particular topic:
You will not be responsible for actually writing/composing an article, but just finding specified information on a particular theme. For example, you may need to list YouTube channels that feature Science Lessons, or come up with article ideas that feature restaurants. In any case, an appropriate form will be provided for you to fill out in Microsoft Word.
The pay rate for research is $5 USD per form page (this does not include attachments such as resumes). A page would consist of a simple list of specified topics, or a list of different candidates. After you get the hang of things, your workload may increase.
*** NOTE: Complete research is expected on all occasions.

Hi Articles,
What industry and what types of job roles are you generally recruiting for? The reason I ask is that finding 10 relevant Finance Directors should command a higher rate of pay than 10 customer service agents. Also, is your search primary in the states?
Thanks,
MichaelArticles I.10 Jul 2018Position types vary. All candidates will be US citizens seeking positions in the USA. Certain candidates are not worth more that others for the search work our assistants do, so we offer the same flat rate per page of work completed. Thank you for your interest.
