Hi,
I'm looking for a HR professional / script writer.
I'd like some help with one aspect of a college assignment. I need to role play a 15-30 min performance review scenario between a manager and their employee. I need to semi script it and include bullet points of what I will cover. This is for a hypothetical situation.
Here is the scenario:
You are a call centre manager with Carousel Cruises who have an established performance review system. You are due to conduct a six monthly review meeting with one of your staff who, after a five year period of hitting all sales targets, has only managed to achieve 50% of her/his target during the last six month period.
Things to consider:
Welcome candidate / putting them at ease
Open meeting appropriately, setting out the purpose of the review, any ground rules eg confidentiality
What questions would you ask? Use a range of appropriate questioning techniques eg open questions / summarising to get to the bottom of why his sales figures have dropped.
Performance improvements and any development needs identified
Clear concise conclusion and summary of actions agreed with candidate
So really I need from you a set of guidance notes / script from the managers perspective. Not the employee. To take to the meeting. Include important buzz words etc. Addressing policy / laws (if appropriate) etc, probing questions to get to the bottom of why they are under performing.
I need this in in the next 2 weeks please.
