Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: Ongoing
*** EXISTING APPLICATIONS IN REVIEW. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT ANY MORE PROPOSALS. ***
Hi there,
I'm looking for someone to start some ongoing work. I'd like to start with 2 hours per week and subject to a good fit both ways, extend that to 4 hours per week, and then take it from there.
The work will involve a wide variety of tasks ranging from incredibly interesting (e.g. responding to customer reviews from users around the world, working on illustrations / designs for social media posts, creating mockups on smartmockups.com) to some that may well be monotonous / boring (for some people) (e.g. auditing content, updating spreadsheets, uploading products on a Wordpress site).
The role will require you to be fast, and pay strong attention to detail.
As far as the creative side of the work goes, assuming you're good, you will have almost full autonomy on where / how you'd like to push the boundaries.
I'm looking for a set time each week so I have a workflow ready. So say we agree on 8am - 9am Mondays London time, I'd send you an email every Monday with the tasks for that week. If required (and it likely will be required initially), we'd have a quick video call via Zoom so I can share my screen, show you exactly what we need (e.g. modifications that are needed for the template update on word documents), and answer any questions you might have then and there.
Feel free to ask any questions you might have.
Importantly...
* The job is NOT an "SEO" specific one, so please do not apply if your primary skillset is SEO. I'm looking for a VA, not a SEO expert. I'm not after "digital marketing gurus" either. Individual freelancers are PREFERRED vis-a-vis agencies.
* Your location does not matter as long as you're able to work in British time (BST now, GMT April onwards), and you're not pulling all nighters. Your English must obviously be strong.
* This job WILL close by 6:30pm London time tomorrow (15th March 2020). A decision will be made by Monday at the very latest, and the chosen applicant(s) will be informed then and there.

# 5 GOLDEN RULES
# ==============
1. Please do not offer to work for free. Not just for this job, but any job. Seriously, work should be paid for.
2. I read all proposals line by line, so please spare me a templated one (even though I understand why you might want to send out generic ones given the law of large numbers).
3. My feedback is brutally honest, and I expect the same brutal honesty from you if you're hired. This means no sugar coating nor beating around the bush either side.
4. If the number of applications is high (similar to my previous posts), I will implement a simulated workflow to get a feel for how you work. I will only send you the simulated workflow if I think there's a *possibility* of us starting a professional relationship / being a good fit.
5. I'm not interested in reading your CV. I'm interested in your personality.
