Description
Experience Level: Expert
A research organisation is seeking the services of a law graduate to undertake a review of the text they have on their database about Japanese Employment Law. The purpose of this is to ensure that it is accurate, clear and up to date. The total current text amounts to 19,650 words and is a summary of the national law in UK English, plus leading recent court cases in the employment field.
The text will be presented on a "Word" document and edits/comments made using the facilities available in the software. We will ask the chosen researcher to initially undertake a review of the first 1000 words and submit it to us before they commence the project as a whole. This will be to ensure that our requirements are understood and being met. We will also provide ongoing guidance as required.
Any proposed changes to the text must be in the author's original words and no plagiarism will be allowed. We will undertake regular checks to ensure this, as we do not wish to infringe copyright. The copyright to our original and amended material will remain ours.
The researcher must hold a good degree in law (preferably Japanese Law) and be fluent in written English. They must also be able to work swiftly and to agreed time schedules. If this work is undertaken satisfactorily there may be an opportunity for further work writing legal news stories for our regular newswire.
Please quote a fixed price for this work and also provide a fixed time frame from the date when the assignment is approved. A brief personal bio would also be appreciated with the quotation.
