Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: Ongoing
My company is a consultancy company that helps B2B SaaS companies accelerate their growth. We help implement best practices and lean startup methods in Product Management, Marketing and Sales. Clients follow a structured program in which they become more data-driven, experiment-driven and implement other lean startup processes.
Role description:
I'm looking for an experienced product manager (4+ yrs bare minimum) to help me run the program. This is a part-time position (12-20 hrs a week), at least initially. All work can be on your own schedule except for 1 meeting a week (on CET timezone afternoons). You would work directly with me and my clients and your responsibilities would include:
Data analysis:
Weekly Reviewing the client's KPI's and metrics to see if experiments are working and detect issues and growth opportunities.
Product Management feedback and input: Are user stories written in the best way? Does the prioritization of Roadmap themes make sense? Feedback on UX UI designs. Input and feedback on company strategy, hiring, etc.
Process/tools feedback: My program consists of many modules to implement certain product and marketing tools and processes and they have to be checked if implemented correctly.
Required experience:
- At least 4 years experience as a Product Owner/Product manager in an agile team (of which at least 1 year in a scrum team) where a custom web app was developed that was offered to clients (not just internal use) (i.e. SaaS , marketplace, etc)
- Basic understanding of Online marketing and Sales (processes) is required (i.e. stages in a CRM funnel, marketing automation tools and practices)
- Knowledge of Agile and Lean methods, i.e. scrum, experimentation/growth hacking, user testing, user stories, acceptance criteria, etc.
- Knowledge of modern Product Management, Marketing and Sales tools, i.e. a CRM, Jira, analytics or BI tools and ideally also experience with a marketing automation tool like active campaign (nice to have).
- Experience with consulting and/or as a scrum master is plus
Hours per week: Between 12-20 hrs
Duration: Ongoing, ideally a longer-term partnership, helping me with multiple clients.
Screening questions
IMPORTANT: In your application please answer these questions (via Upwork proposal or in a chat message in case you were invited to this job), otherwise I CAN NOT consider you:
1. How many years of full-time experience as a software product manager do you have on your CV?
2. How many of these years were for an online B2B SaaS (like) product?
3. For these 3 areas please list some tools you are quite familiar with per area: Product 4. Management (i.e. jira), Sales (i.e. CRM's, sales automation), Marketing (i.e. marketing automation, emailing, advertising, A/B testing tools, etc)
4. Do you have any experience consulting or as a scrum master (optional)?
5. What experience/interests/traits do you think would make you a good candidate for this role?
