Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 - 6 months
General information for the business: We make sites and systems
Industry: Internet/Software
Description of support work: We're a small web development team based in London, UK that needs ongoing support for project management. We work with a number of different suppliers and are starting to get a lot more work in, so need someone to be able to oversee projects ongoing. We've also not got a dedicated PM process in place so would like to work with someone who has that experience.
Our standard projects range from PDF to HTML conversion, to WordPress sites, system builds and mobile app development. Typical languages we work with are HTML5 (HTML, CSS3, JS), Bootstrap, Angular, Python, PHP.
The role would be handing current (outsourced) suppliers to work on our briefs and running basic reviews of templates through our automated systems before we receive them.
We can provide 10 hours per week over the next 3 months with the possibility of increasing this at the end of that three month period.
Requirements
- Must be based in Europe (or America)
- Must be an individual - no teams desired, we want to build a one-to-one working relationship over the next few months
- Must be available at least 1-2 hours a day - we won't have loads of work required, but will need emails chasing progress daily, or else support requests we need converted, on most days
- Must have great written and spoken English, to be able to convert briefs into projects and tasks that can then be managed
- Be available 9-5 GMT/BST (our local time)
- Have experience developing basic sites and small systems
- Minor QA role expected - though will use mostly automated tools
- Must be set up to be self-employed / freelance
Please note, you will NOT be an employee of our company.
I look forward to hearing from you, let me know if you have any questions
