The brief
Building a data base of yacht supplier's resellers.
This is a luxury market and we are looking to target companies who have a identical profile to Feretti. This is a well know Italian Yacht company who are a one stop solution for yacht owners worldwide.
They have a direct link with the end user and are able to offer the end user a full range of after sale services.
For example. If you had a yacht that required complete or partial internal furbishment, or there was damage to some of the interior, then the company would take on this task and farm it our to a specialist interior yacht interior yacht repair company, who would carry out this work on behalf of the main company.
We are the specialist interior yacht repair company and we are looking to diversify and offer our services to other well established yacht companies who deal directly with the end user.
We have given you an example of the type of company we are looking for, to offer them our services.
Such companies will be represented in all the major ports of the world. Cannes, Monte Carlo, Fort Lauderdale etc.Just do a little research and you will know who the major yacht sellers are and the services that they offer.
The proposed diversification will allow us to expand our business, whilst spreading the risk across a wider customer base. This for us means less dependancy on a few large companies.
We initially require a sample data base to be drawn up using the profile of a company such as Ferretti.
(They are a leading worldwide supplier of yachts and related services).
