Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
To achieve our goals we need an overview of companies that have their head office situated in Greifswald and an aproximate range of 60 km (40 miles) around Greifswald (see image below, marked area).
Use Google Maps for this job.
Your task would be to compile an excel-table in which you sort the companies by 21 branches, we defined:
- pharmacies
- boat builders
- fountain contractors
- mold makers
- scaffolders
- carpenters
- interior fitting contractors
- swimming pool contractors
- dry wall contractors
- any businesses that build sunrooms
- home builders and estate agents
- construction firms
- concrete factories
- tattoo studios
- financial consulting
- funeral homes
- (more upscale) restaurants
- dentists
- electricians
- optician
- but also ports
The attributes you'd need to check and find out (the columns) go as follows and in that order:
- the domain
- the name of the company
- their field
- the gender of the managing director
- the first name of the managing director
- the last name of the managing director
- the street the company is located at including the house number
- the postal code
- the city
- an e-mail address
- the telephone number and if given a mobile number
For the website itself you'll need to fill in:
- if it uses a content management system and if so, which one
- if SSL/TLS is used
- if it is designed responsive
- if web fonts are used (system, local or external)
- if there is a contact form
- if there is an interactive map and if so, by which provider
- if there is a data protection declaration and if it is complete by EU standards
- if there is a legal notice and if it is complete by EU standards
- any optical defects
- any functional defects
- any error messages in the console
- if there is an Google Maps entry of the company
- and if it is complete or which aspects are missing.
You may also include businesses that don't have a website by now. Then just mark the fields concerning the website with a hyphen.
In the end the table shall contain at least 500 businesses. For each line of business there should be max. 30 companies included.
An example is pinned down below to visualize it for you.
