Hi folks!
We are planning to develop some research in London. It\'s a contextual research and will be focused on understanding West African immigrants food habits (dishes, ingredients, cooking process, brands, etc) and consumption drivers of African Black Immigrants, first and second generation.
The idea will be to develop some fieldwork, home interviews (3 households) with families and grup discussions with them. The fieldwork will be done ideally in mid January and we are looking for some Afro local ethnographers/sociologists/researchers and I was wondering if some of you were interested?!
We are looking to hire someone who:
Is highly collaborative and creative
Is comfortable being in charge of all logistics of the project on site and being the main contact and reference for our company
Has the capacity to carry out the project in London
Has proven experience in conducting research and ideally with African Immigrants
Can adapt materials provided by A Piece of Pie to adapt to immigrants habits
Feels comfortable holding creative session with consumers under the guidance of our company (all necessary materials and guidelines/protocol will be provided)
Has knowledge and/or experience in African cooking habits and food role
Best regards,
Diego
