Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
We have litigation in a foreign country, which is being handled ably by local barristers. In order to raise the profile of our case with the local government and FCO, we need a UK Solicitor to "represent" us in the high court. Your involvement will consist of:
1. Press conference where you will be expected to outline the case and your goal. (You will be well prepared for this in advance).
2. Present yourself to the High Court and sit through the proceedings. The barristers speak English and will provide translation, but you will not be expected to speak.
3. Total amount of time expect to spend in country will be 1 week. (Thursday - Thursday most likely)
4. Date is dependent on the High Court.
5. Your flight, hotel and meals will be paid for at our expense.
