Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 6 months
I'm putting together a new website for my new law firm. I have a lot of knowledge about the local laws and issues, and all of these need to be translated into articles which I will post on the WordPress blog site.
My plan is to spend 30 mins talking you through a topic, you take notes, I send you through my research, you write a really cool article. You are probably going to need to contribute a few hours of research checking my facts and whatever else. There are no textbooks on this islands legal system. Only 80,000 people. So you need to be comfortable with reading tedious legislation. Some law firms have already released guides that may be helpful so that's good.
Your articles must adhere to the following guidelines:
1. SEO friendly
2. Clickbait titles ok, but must be tasteful. Legalease ok.
3. Adhere to house style guidelines
4. Be around 500-750 words each
5. Be interesting and easy plain English reading
6. Include calls to action and be persuasive
7. Give the impression we are great and we know our stuff
5. Be thorough, have excellent attention to detail both factual and formatting. For example, did you notice this requirement should have been numbered 8?
You must be smart, capable, responsive and you hopefully love copywriting. Our aim here is to get people to pick up the phone and call me and pay me for legal advice.
Any sales type training or whatever you have alongside decent legal experience and top academics will be desirable.
Decent pay, and think about it - if you are the right candidate we are looking at 100 articles over the next few months, £30-35 per hour, 3 - 6 hours each etc.
Any queries ask. Remote job but you need to have Skype or zoom and try to be nearish BST timezone.
