I recently left my role with my employer, where I was employed as Sales Director on a 15 week notice period. I was only employed for 9 months, therefore we agreed to reduce the notice period as it was disproportionate to my tenure with the company. As a result, we have reached a compromise agreement, where my notice period has been reduced to 4 weeks and I will receive an amount as redundancy payment. Their legal advisor has produced a Compromise Agreement that I need to be reviewed and I need to add details of the legal advisor who has reviewed this, as per the Agreement. It's a 2 page document, detailing the terms of the payment and essentially that I will not pursue any further claims against the company.
