Description
Experience Level: Entry
I own a small printing business and want a quick way of calculating copying prices for our customers. In the past we have used break points for quantities, but this leads to anomalies at the crossover point. By using progressive pricing this is smoothed out, whilst still reflecting a discount for larger quantities. The price that we quote the customer will be the total price, not the various calculations that make it up.
On the attached spreadsheet I have laid out the grid that I want to use. I now need the correct formulae to calculate the correct cumulative price, depending on the total quantity used.
The last grid is for calculating discounts on other products.
I would like to be able to change the quantity bands and their prices as required in the future, so any clarification as to how this is done will be welcomed.
