Description
We want this task completed by an Excel expert who will use Macros, or similar shortcuts, to create the heat duration data/graph fast. To be clear, we do not want this task to be completed by manually calculating the duration data/graph.
The full spreadsheet from which you will need to extract the heat duration data to create the graph (the graph to show the duration of each heat) has nearly 44,000 rows of data.
Column K shows the cause/s of delays in the heat duration. If you are able to show a correlation between a named cause of delay (for example ‘A Melting’ as seen in Column K) and the length of the heat duration, that would be an advantage. In your reply to this ad, please identify if you will be able to show a correlation between a named cause of delay and the length of the heat duration.
This task is urgent.

Hi,
I have the following comments on the data:
1. The heat reference no. in Column B are not unique as each number had multiple rows of data. Does it mean that total heat duration for each heat reference no. would be the sum of all rows with that heat reference no.?
2. Column H is 'msd_delay_id'. Is this reference number to be used for each heat reference since all entries in this column are unique?
3. You have mentioned that the duration of each heat reference is in Column J. The column J shows 'end_time'. The column 'Q' is labelled 'Duration'. Does it mean that the duration is shown in column Q?

Hi Christopher,
Thanks for the invite.
Just a quick question. Why the column A in your spreadsheet is blank. Will the generated report will always have column A as blank.
It's important to have the macro code to run.
Looking forward for your quick response.
Thanks,
EthanChristopher M.06 Sep 2018Hello Ethan
Thanks for your message.
Column A was blank when my Client sent me the data spreadsheet. So, I have no insight on why Column A is blank, and whether Column A does, or does not affect, the creation of the requested graph.
Kind regards
ChrisEthan W.07 Sep 2018Thanks for your reply. Please can you confirm that the column A will always be blank because it will effect the VBA coding.
Once you confirm we can proceed. -
