I am writing on behalf of my organisation, a property and facilities management organisation, that requires an Excel spreadsheet created that will be used as a 'tracker' for staff to log, update and record any issues that arise within the buildings they are responsible for across North West England. Issues fall within 5 categories (safety, quality, cost, delivery, people) and will be assigned a priority (critical, high, medium, low).
To date, senior management have been inundated with e-mails relating to issues arising, so the spreadsheet will act as a central repository for all staff to use that gives visibility of all issues ongoing within the region.
As well as the main spreadsheet that will be used by staff to input the details of any issues, senior management require a visual management dashboard that provides 'at a glance' information, and allows them to see where attention is required based on the criticality of the issues etc.
The spreadsheet should comprise:
1) the main data input sheet where staff log issues
2) a sheet with graphs/tables that management can filter on (using slicers) to see different statistics, e.g. number of open issues by area, by manager, by criticality/status, by overdue resolution etc.
3) a visual dashboard that provides 'at a glance' information and informs management of where attention is required
