Description
Experience Level: Entry
I have built a linear mixed regression model to identify how various factors impact private equity fund performance in the oil and gas sector.
Fund return, which is the dependent variable, is measured in percentage and has been formatted in excel so that 0.01 equals 1 percent.
For independent variables the model has, at present, included the percentage level of debt, real GDP growth and 10 Year Real Interest rate all of which are percentages formatted in the same way as fund return (ie. 0.01 equals 1%).
I have the following coefficients:
0.599 (Real GDP), -0.0046 (10 Year Interest Rate), 0.323 (Debt)
My intercept is -0.00878.
Can someone please assist me in interpreting these.
