Description
Experience Level: Expert
I need a business plan for a home-based cookery class franchise.
The franchisee will be mainly interested in nutrition and cooking. The franchise will let them earn an income from nutrition.
The business model will require the franchisee's customer to sign up for classes which will be held in the franchisee's home.
This is different from party planning, where sales of product allow guests to come to the party free of charge. The franchisee won't be selling much, but rather providing education.
Your report should cover:
- Likely number of people attending each class. Frequency of class, and fee paid to attend the class. Howe many classes would a student sign up for?
- How big a territory size, how many franchisees.
- Likely revenue and costs for a franchisee
- Likely monthly franchisee fee, and initial once-off franchise fee
- What the franchisor would be expected to provide to the new franchisee and on a monthly basis.
- Likely total revenue for the franchisor.
- How to present the organisation's USP
- What non-food products could be sold
- Ways of reaching the target market (franchisee and students)
You should have experience in party planning, direct sales, franchising, or MLM etc.
You should tell us what similar organisations exist, and review similar fee-charging examples in other markets, for example Weight Watchers, or Slimming World. Zest4Life, Kumon
Do not spend time on legal issues, as we have already got some insight into this.
You should be UK based, as we are a UK organisation.
