Removing all of the 'flowery job descriptions such as 'business development' and 'lead generation' - I want someone who can pick up the phone, qualify a contact, make a punchy attention grabbing intro, ask the right questions, and convert all this into a actual sale that can be invoiced.

We help trade contractors find new business. We are exceptional at doing it, we only work with contractors involved in building services, and we've invested a huge amount of time and money in establishing a network and methods that allow us to drive real business direct to our clients.

The benefits of our service: it delivers great results; it's the lowest cost advertising solution I know of (£48 + VAT per six months), and (unlike many other advertising solutions) we limit numbers - between 3 and 6 similar contractors in any primary postcode location (NG; M; LS; etc).

I need someone who can sell the service. It means picking up the phone (lots), establishing a contact of authority, making a high impact (and brief) intro, asking the right questions - and getting a 'yes - I'll give that a try, send me an invoice'.

We'll pay a fair hourly rate (I don't expect cheap, I want results and I expect to have to pay for that). I want to run an initial pilot scheme, if that works out and we move on from there I'm happy to build in a commission scheme. Having worked for a while in advertising sales this will suit someone who has worked in that environment, can smell even the smallest buying signal on the planet and latch onto it, and get a commitment. I have been selling the service myself but the business is moving on a bit now and I simply can't do it all - I need a salesperson who can sell. If I had someone who spent an entire day on the phone making hundreds of calls and came back to me with lots of 'they'll buy next week/month/year' or 'I think we'll win this next month' but zero orders - then I won't be impressed. If I had a salesperson who spent most of the day watching TV, drinking coffee, playing on the Internet - but know how to sell 3 or 4 orders a day I'd happily pay them for a full days work.

If you think you can meet the demands of this project I'm busting to hear from you.....but I need sales, things we can invoice, get paid for, and deliver a service. My suggestion is, if you're interested, you quote me for a 15 hour project with a cost for additional blocks of 5 hours. I'll spend as much time as is needed going over the service, we have a website, we have links to client sites to show how it all works, and we have clients who will provide good references - everything is there. All data will be provided - this would be on Excel but if I can find someone who can sell I'll handwrite the data on toilet paper if I have to.
