General information for the business: Working Knowledge is a Social Enterprise that exists to bridge the gap between education and the workplace and open the eyes of business to the young talent available locally, providing innovative early careers programmes for ambitious businesses and aspiring young people.
Industry: Education
Geographical areas: UK
Description of Business Development: Do you want to be part of a company that offers genuine life changing opportunities? Do you have a passion for working with young people aged 18-23 in a highly innovative way? Are you looking to work on a flexible, freelance basis from home?
As a Recruitment Resourcer you will be responsible for finding raw, ambitious talent to join innovative year-long early careers programmes in Sales and Customer Service – Working Knowledge Academies.
View our website and watch the animated video to find out more about Working Knowledge Academies.
You will drive the end-to-end recruitment process for our partner businesses that are fast growing, supportive and exciting places for young people to launch their professional careers. Our job is to find the right talent then train, coach and support them to achieve fast-track progression to keep up with business demand.
You will pro-actively source quality candidates using CV searches followed by text, email and calls. You will need to ‘sell’ the opportunity to young people who frequently think that a Working Knowledge Academy is “too good to be true”!
Once you have their interest you will prepare candidates for assessment days including coaching them on interview technique, editing CVs and bolstering their confidence.
In return you will have the opportunity to work with a fun, innovative and values-driven team where your opinion is heard and where you get to make a real difference to the lives of young people. Take a look at this video to hear the impact that our Academies have on young people
Key Responsibilities:
• Source uniquely-qualified candidates through targeted Boolean CV searches and communication via text, email and phone.
• Shortlist and pre-qualify candidates by telephone and/or face to face interview to determine their eligibility and suitability.
• Ensure that selected candidates are appropriately presented and prepared for assessment centres with high-quality CVs and practiced interview techniques.
• Manage the recruitment process effectively by using established database processes, project management systems and through regular virtual team meetings.
Key Competencies and Experience:
You need to be a brilliant Recruitment Resourcer at the very top of your field with a proven track record which includes:
• Superb and evidenced ability to source and close candidates at relatively high volumes and to strict deadlines for entry level (possibly graduate) positions that potential candidates are not actively seeking.
• Minimum of three years’ recruiting experience.
• Ability to look beyond experience, qualifications and upbringing to spot latent ambition and potential.
• Expert ability with tools and media platforms such as CV Library, Salesforce, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter etc.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Clear, proactive approach to planning and resourcing campaigns to ensure quality is never compromised and deadlines are never missed.
• Experience of working with young people and offering advice and guidance
• A positive and upbeat personality, trustworthy, confident, committed, patient and driven with excellent attention to detail.
The Recruitment Resourcer will report to the Managing Director and liaise regularly with the Training Manager and other colleagues.
If this sounds like you, please call send your proposal or call Jane Nassimi on 07508468475.
