Our London headquarters needs a business development manager to join the TV advertising sales team - leading the company’s sales efforts and source sponsors.
Helping to drive new advertising revenue, your role will involve pitching to major brands and businesses both over the phone and face to face.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a team of highly driven professionals and become part of a growing television channel.
The ideal candidate will come from a sales background bringing in new clients and used to hitting sales revenue targets.
A good knowledge of the TV industry would be ideal, or at least a strong desire to gain a thorough understanding.
A proven track record in media sales would be advantageous and you must be resilient, respond well under pressure, show high levels of confidence and be customer focused.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver and drive TV advertising revenue
Research and conduct sales campaigns to attract new business
Work closely with the sales team to maximise sales opportunities
Reach out and actively engage target companies
Build long lasting relationships and contacts with new accounts
Create revenue opportunities in untapped sectors
Manage and nurture relationships with external ad agencies
Develop creative advertising solutions and pitches for clients
Provide clients with post campaign reports
Support the smooth delivery of ad campaigns and sponsorship
Seek out clients on an ongoing basis through effective business development
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN APPLYING FOR THIS ROLE IT’S DESIRABLE TO HAVE:
Experience with TV Advertising industry and understanding of audiences is highly desirable but not essential
Experience working in a sales executive or business development role
Excellent telephone manner and people skills
Be self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic
Ability to build strong productive relationships with external and internal colleagues
Ambitious with hunger to reach and exceed targets
