General information for the business: We sell furniture online via marketplaces and websites.
Kind of support: Balance Sheet, End of year account, P&L, Report, Tax
Description of support work: Hi, I just submitted my VAT return and no more am I prepared to use my old spreadsheets method! I'm comfortable with formulae and data but not comfortable with bookkeeping practices! I need a slick software system that will keep this info and give me timely and accurate output for tax and reporting purposes.
I sell on Amazon, eBay, 2 websites, and face to face. Some transactions are VAT exempt and others are in Euros.
I keep a warehouse with stock, a showroom. I also sell products that are stocked elsewhere that I drop-ship.
In 2014 I had about 1700 sales orders. At less than 5 orders per day it's not huge amounts of data but there are plenty of examples of refunds, partial refunds, exchanges that all add to the fog of confusion.
I'm looking for help selecting some industry standard software that won't break the bank. Tried and trusted is fine. I want someone with experience to feed all my 2014 data into it and get me up and running. I would then need to be shown what I need to do to keep it up to date. I appreciate garbage in = garbage out but I would expect the software to hook up with my selling accounts on the market places, paypal, my banks, and run my sales order processing. It would be good to check my four VAT returns for 2014 and prepare my numbers for annual reporting. I would also want profit and loss reporting and stock level integration. I appreciate this maybe a little difficult to quote on so am happy to answer questions at length.
I live in Sheffield and would favour someone who can visit as I believe face to face meetings are valuable and there is potentially a lot of information exchange. I really want someone who is experienced with this kind of stuff. I could probably have a go myself but want to get it done efficiently. When you bid please let me know what experience you have with customers using paypal, ebay, amazon and magento.
I would expect to pay a fixed fee to get things up and running and then per hour for support.
