Hi
We are a Charity that has grown rapidly in our 5 years of existence and turn over c.£0.5m a year. We have a team of 3 staff and very active and engaged board of trustees.
We are called the Hands Up Foundation and we raise money for Syria through events such as supper clubs, selling MarmalAid and one off donations.
We require bookkeeping support. We have used a large firm for a few years but would like an individual who is more engaged with our needs and we can build a relationship with. We require support with invoices, cash flow and related matters - we use Xero and Receipt Bank.
We are quite commercial in terms of our activities and therefore specific charity sector knowledge / experience is not required. Our treasurer is an FD of a charity and therefore we have sector-specific financial expertise on the board, as well as charity lawyer.
We are based in central London and, whilst we would like to meet in person for a few intro sessions, we are happy for remote working. We would consider a fixed or hourly fee.
We are a vibrant, exciting organisation to work for; we look forward to hearing from bookkeepers interested in supporting us
