We are a small but growing construction and development company based in West Kensington close to the tube. We run our accounts through Quickbooks. Specific to our business, we maintain financial data on both a company and project basis, capturing the key labour and material costs and ascribing them to each project, whether small or large. In addition to the weekly update of projects costs, we need monthly P&L, cashflow and general management accounts to confirm the financial position of the business. We undertake quarterly vat returns, as well as CIS (the construction industry equivalent of PAYE) returns re our team of contractor builders.
