General information for the business: We are a construction business doing building works, kitchens, bathrooms etc
Kind of support: Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Invoicing, P&L, Payroll, Tax
Accounting software: Excel
Description of support work: Broadly we are looking for on-going help with book-keeping, invoicing & payroll.
We need to set up a system that keeps track of all outgoings and allocates them correctly to appropriate jobs so that when invoicing time comes we can allocate items correctly to each client.
We also need help running payroll and organising our CIS tax payments.
We would be interested in knowing how much it would cost to have help setting up a suitable system or for help running one on an on-going basis.
Extra notes: We are a small business working with 2-3 clients at a time, projects typically last from 3-5 weeks and and we complete around 40 projects per year.
Each job generates materials receipts from us, our team and from subcontractors, all of which we need to process and allocate correctly to each client in order that we can invoice correctly at billing time.
We have a team of 5 and we regularly use 3 or 4 subcontractors all of whom we pay on a weekly basis, plus reimbursements for their materials purchases and monthly CIS tax returns.
