Hi, I'm a UK resident with a Ltd company in the UK. I also own a property in Spain which I let out through AirBnB. I've paid tax on the income in Spain so understand I shouldn't have to pay it again in the UK. But I need to know how to declare it in my personal tax return in such a way that the HMRC understands and doesn't try to charge me again.
To be clear, I'm only looking for advice - I don't need anyone to fill in the tax return for me. I do that myself each year. I just need to understand what to input and where so I'm declaring the income accurately without paying tax twice.
Ideally you'd be a qualified accountant with expertise in the area of double taxation treaties with Spain - but I'm open to offers!
