I have shaken hands on a deal to sell an on-line ebay business
I need a simple but tailored business sale agreement on HEADED paper from either a certified freelance solicitor, or on-line law firm in the UK to both protect myself and provide proof to ebay, to allow them to transfer my account to the new owner.
You can either offer or propose to write an agreement from scratch, OR I can supply a standard template based one one which has been pre-read and amended by a friend who is a non-practicing lawyer, you then simply read, advise, and produce the final document.
The agreement can be quite simple, as I am a sole trader, and there are no business contracts, etc. It will include a non-competition clause, non-solicitation clause, list of assets, base price, some protection for me, etc, etc
I will only consider proposals from UK based freelancers or UK companies; You MUST be able to supply a final document with both parties signatures (the seller, and the buyer) on headed paper to prove and satisfy ebay that a genuine sale of business has taken place.
Please feel free to ask any more questions. I would like a total turnaround of one week. (This week if possible).
Please indicate your turnaround time in your proposal.
Thanks for reading.
Best Regards,
Luke
P.S. I have attached a PDF, (I can also supply a draft document). Its not an actual business sale of agreeement, just some information I think you would need to either cut and paste into your document or to read, and then reword on a legal basis. You would just need to write the actual agreement, I would write appendix A - E, which would not be available to the buyer until the handover. I will handle the payment from the buyer.
