Description
- Build scalable applications across e-commerce, FinTech, EdTech, SaaS, and AI use cases
- Develop scalable Python/FastAPI backend services, including REST APIs and third-party integrations (including AI/API integrations)
- Build modern React/Next.js applications using TypeScript (with Node.js as needed)
- Implement AWS-based production infrastructure, including Docker and CI/CD
- Work with PostgreSQL plus SQL/NoSQL data stores as required
- Own delivery end-to-end: understand requirements, make architectural decisions, solve complex technical problems, and take work to production
- Please do not send a generic proposal.
- Include your years of professional experience with Python, FastAPI, React/Next.js, Node.js, and AWS.
- Include 2–3 relevant projects you personally worked on (preferably e-commerce, FinTech, EdTech, SaaS, or AI).
- For your strongest project, explain what you built, your role, the stack/architecture, and one difficult problem you solved.
- Share your GitHub, portfolio, or live work.
- Share your current availability and weekly capacity.
- Generic or copy-pasted proposals may not be considered.

Hello Kocsis,
I have some questions regarding the project:
- What is the initial product and current stage of development?
- Which AWS services and CI/CD setup are currently in use?
- What weekly capacity and overlap hours do you require? -

A few things I’d like to clarify:
1. Which product would you want me to take ownership of first?
2. Are these products already in production, or would I be building new modules from scratch?
3. How much of the existing React/FastAPI codebase would I be taking over?
4. For the AI products, are you currently using OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or custom models? -

Hello, this reads like you've been burned before by someone who could list the stack but couldn't actually own a decision when something broke in production, so I'll skip the generic pitch and go straight into specifics.
Roughly, around 5 years with React and Next.js and TypeScript, about 4 years with Node.js, close to 4 years with Python across Django and Flask, AWS and Docker for around 3 years including CI/CD pipelines, and FastAPI is newer for me, under a year of direct use, though it maps cleanly onto the Django REST Framework and Flask patterns I already know well, so ramping there isn't a real risk.
My strongest relevant project is Raiinmaker, raiinmaker.com, a social engagement platform with its own blockchain incentive layer. My role covered both frontend and backend, React with TypeScript and Tailwind on the client, Node.js and GraphQL on the API layer, PostgreSQL and MongoDB for different parts of the data model, deployed with Docker and a CI/CD pipeline through AWS Cloud9. The hardest problem there was state consistency, several features were reading and writing the same user data at once and it produced bugs that only appeared under specific timing, hard to reproduce reliably. I fixed it by normalizing the store early and centralizing writes through a single flow instead of letting each feature update state independently, which took longer upfront than patching each symptom but stopped the bug class entirely instead of just hiding it.
Two other relevant projects, Leonardo247, leonardo247.com, a Python and Django REST Framework backend for a property operations SaaS platform, deployed with Docker on AWS, and Yatmatch, app.yatmatch.com/yatmatch, a marketplace built with Python, Django REST Framework, React and PostgreSQL, matching buyers and sellers with a scoring system behind the search.
Portfolio is at https://danyil.netlify.app/ . I can start immediately and have full weekly capacity available right now.
Since this is meant as an ongoing collaboration rather than a single scoped task, is there a specific product or codebase this starts on, or is the first stretch more exploratory across a few of those verticals before settling into one.
