Description

Experience Level: Expert
Require an app making to replicate our report sent to clients.
We currently use excel spreadsheet so all formulas would need to be copied over to the app and must also be able to upload an excel file to the app to produce a pass or fail within the formula. Must be able to gps a location and allow photo uploads too. Once completed, app would then send pdf format to an email or destination we set for example, a one drive location.

Must be able to work on apple and android phones

Clarification Board Ask a Question

    Hi Peter,

A few things I would like to clarify before finalising the scope:

    1. Could you share a sample of your current Excel spreadsheet, including the formulas, and a completed client report?

    2. Is the Excel file a fixed template, or will users upload different spreadsheets depending on the job?

    3. Should the PDF replicate your existing report layout exactly, including branding, tables and photos?

    4. Will the app be used by multiple employees with individual logins?

    5. Should reports be sent automatically once completed, or should users review and approve them first?

    6. Do you already use Microsoft OneDrive for Business, and would you require automatic uploads to a specific folder?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best Regards.

  • Asif Q.

    Hi Peter,

Just a quick clarification: would you be able to share a sample of your current Excel spreadsheet (including the formulas) and the report you send to clients? Also, would a mobile-friendly web app that works on both iPhone and Android be suitable, or are you looking for a downloadable app? This would help clarify the scope and ensure the existing calculations and reporting process are replicated accurately.

    Thanks,
    Asif
