Description
I need a simple web-based tool that allows research respondents to take part in AI-led interviews (likely to be around 15 minutes in length).
The system should:
• Speak questions aloud using my custom voices
• Capture spoken responses
• Follow a structured interview flow I define
• Save recordings and transcripts
• Generate a basic summary
• Allow me to export results
This is an internal research tool, not a commercial SaaS platform. I expect this to take approximately 30–60 hours to build to at least MVP level. Please provide your estimated hours
Full brief attached.

- For the interview structure, how do you currently define your modules, questions, and follow-ups, is this in documents, spreadsheets, or scripts, and should the system support easy editing of these without developer input?
- Regarding follow-up questions, do you want AI to dynamically generate them based on responses, or should they come from a predefined set with simple rules (e.g., keyword triggers, length of response)?
- For video recording, how critical is quality vs simplicity, would a browser-based recording (standard webcam capture) suffice, or do you need higher-quality or compliance-grade recordings? -

Could you pls calrify the questions below:
1. Do you want the AI interviewer to strictly follow a fixed script, or should it adapt follow-up questions dynamically based on the respondent’s answers?
2. What level of detail do you expect in the summaries—basic bullet points, thematic analysis, or something closer to insight generation?
3. How would you like us to handle storing and managing the recordings and transcripts—locally, on a secure cloud, or a hybrid approach? -

Could you pls answer on below questions?
1. Would you like an AI-assisted question builder where you input the study objective and the system generates structured questions/modules that you can review and finalize?
2. For follow-up questions, should they be fully predefined, or can we allow limited AI-generated follow-ups within strict rules (e.g., max 1–2 per topic)?
3. How deep should each interview module go — fewer high-level questions or more detailed questions with follow-ups?
4. For MVP, should we focus on core interview flow (questions, recording, transcripts) first and keep AI summaries as a second phase? -

do you want the follow-up logic to be rule-based from your predefined prompts only, or should the AI also decide when a probing follow-up is appropriate within the limits you define?
