Structured Collection and Standardization of Publicly Accessible Review Data (Tripadvisor & Google)
Project Description: I am running an academic research project that requires the structured extraction, cleaning, and normalization of publicly viewable review information from Tripadvisor and Google for four major tourist attractions:

Bioparc Valencia Oceanogràfic Valencia
This project will strictly adhere to:
GDPR requirements
Privacy regulations
Terms of Service of all involved platforms
PeoplePerHour policies
No restricted data, login access, circumvention of protections, or automated actions violating platform rules will be requested or accepted.
The collected information will be used for academic analysis, and all results will be fully anonymized before interpretation. No personally identifying information will be shared with any third party, client, or external organization.
The purpose is to analyze longitudinal trends in review content over the past two years (2024–2025) and classify general reviewer behavioural patterns in an anonymized manner. This project requires a freelancer experienced in:
Data collection from public web interfaces
Public OSINT research techniques
Data validation and structured formatting
Building clean, normalized datasets
Ensuring compliance with Terms of Service of online platforms

Data Requirements (Public Fields Only): For each review and user profile, collect only information explicitly visible to the general public when manually browsing:
Review-level fields:
Attraction name
Review title Full review text
Rating Mobile/desktop indicator (if visible)
Whether photos are included Number of photos
Helpful/positive votes Travel date (if publicly displayed)
Publication date
Reviewer-level fields (public profile indicators only):
Public screen name Public profile URL
Public avatar image (URL) Publicly shown location
Public account creation year/month Number of contributions/reviews
Public photos/media count Public badges, levels, or points
Any other non-sensitive, publicly visible metadata useful for quality-control validation
If a field is not visible without an account, restricted by the platform, or prohibited by the TOS, it must not be collected.
All collected data must be formatted into a single Excel file, normalized and fully documented.
Technical Expectations. The freelancer must:
Use only legally compliant methods, consistent with platform Terms of Service
Perform manual or semi-manual collection methods where required
Ensure full data consistency across attractions
Provide data dictionaries, documentation, or notes on any missing fields
Include a sample dataset before final approval
Important Legal Conditions, To comply with all applicable regulations:
1. Only data visible to the general public may be recorded.
2. Collection must be done in a manner that is compliant with website Terms of Service.
3. No automation methods that breach rate limits, copyrights, or access restrictions may be used.
4. No private user data, hidden data, or non-public information may be collected.
5. Any profile-related information is used exclusively for
data-quality checks
