About the project
I’m building a personal guidance tool that combines structured data inputs with everyday, coaching-style answers. The technical foundation is already built: backend integration, UI, and API calls are in place.
Now I need a specialist to shape the conversational layer — so the AI responses feel warm, empathetic, and practical, instead of generic or technical.
What I need help with
1. Designing system and user prompts that generate clear, supportive, multi-paragraph answers in plain English.
2. Creating a tone/style guide so the responses feel like a real conversation, not generic advice.
3. Implementing and testing these prompts directly in the backend (OpenAI + prompt builder already integrated).
4. Ensuring changes don’t break the baseline setup, and documenting how to maintain it.
What I’m looking for
1. Strong experience with conversational AI / prompt engineering.
2. Comfortable working hands-on in an existing codebase (not just providing text).
3. Background in coaching, psychology, or UX writing is a plus (to get the right tone).
4. Clear communication and ability to iterate quickly.
If successful, potential for ongoing collaboration.
