Our company is currently looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment where you have the opportunity to make an impact.
Required Skills and Abilities:
• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks is required
• 2+ years of administrative experience
• Strong computer skills: must be able to easily learn software
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Very organized with great attention to detail
• Dependable and trustworthy
• Stable work history
• Can work well with others and take direction
• Able to work well with our head bookkeeper and other administrative assistant and follow procedures already in place
• Ability to come up with new ideas that could improve efficiency
• Previous experience in Human Resources is a huge plus
Bookkeeping Responsibilities:
• Handling check, credit, and cash payments
• Overseeing petty cash
• Accounting & sales reports
• Accounts payable
• Banking reconciliation
Administrative Responsibilities:
• Assist with processing new hire paperwork following state and federal guidelines as well as company policies
• Creating reports with functions using Microsoft Excel
• Creating documents using Microsoft Word
• Assist with processing company timecards
• Electronic filing. Must be very good with Windows File Explorer
• Research for company owner and management
• Various administrative tasks for owner and management
