I run a small custom software development business.
Duties are listed here but there will be other admin related tasks:
- Interfacing with our customers when they request support and pass to developers/follow-up
- Follow-up unpaid accounts
- Filter my email inbox
- Assign tasks in our project management system and follow up
- Process payment of invoices
- Monitoring the live chat on our website and process any requests from that
- Periodic chasing of unpaid invoices
- Other ad-hoc admin requests
Because of the interaction with our customers, your standard of written English must be excellent and meaningful/clear to our customers (who are native English).
You also need a sharp attention to detail and an ability to use your initiative.
We use a tracking application for all staff, you will also need to use this, it logs your activity and takes period screenshots.
When submitting your proposal please include the word rhubarb somewhere near the start.
The selected person will be on a trial period of 4 hours a day, 5 days a week for a month. I not sure if we need more than this, we might.
Next step will be a video interview on Skype for shortlist.
