Hi, we are currently expanding our operations and we are looking for someone exceptional to join our team! We require a new team member who is skilled at providing admin. assistance and is extremely comfortable on the phone with people from around the world.
Our new member should have a can do attitude and upbeat manner (this is key). Were looking for a person with the X factor so to speak! Someone professional yet very friendly and intelligent when engaging with clients. A team member that can use their own intuition as needed and is a quick thinker, this is also 100% vital to the position.
This role is continuous. As we progress and grow, we would like you to continue with us and if it works well for you, we would like to offer you more hours daily and the perks that come with that.
We try to be flexible with working hours, that said it is best if you have availability during the morning, midday and again in the late afternoon. To begin your hours will be focussed on training, but we are hopeful that after the first month we will be able to offer at minimum 10 hours continuously per week - with more as we grow.
We’re looking for a team member that is an individual freelancer - we do not wish for our new team member to offer us their skills as part of a service at this time. We already have an additional virtual team/service in place.
Essentially the role fits into two areas of expertise:
1. Telephone calls with potential clients -
We have a process whereby before we speak to potential clients we have a 15 minute screening / audit call. To do this we have a script & template that should be followed. We will give you full training on this. The call is essentially asking a set of questions - these are clients who want to speak with the owner - but before we speak with them we screen them.
2. Virtual Assistant -
* Schedule calls
* Call the day before to remind the person of the appointment, Skype them & send an email
* Sort and answer emails using Gmail along with recording information via Google Apps
* Use of GoToWebinar, Membermouse, ActiveC, Dropbox, Acuity and Freshbooks daily
* Update and send documents to clients as/if needed
* Chase payments and contact leads
You must be:
- Articulate and Intuitive
- Ability to thoroughly read and understand the information given - from ourselves and clients
- Have a great telephone manner that is both sincere and positive
- Punctual and signed in at least 10 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointments
- Not essential, but would be a plus if you have some sort of experience with Recruitment/HR
- Have experience in customer service/relations as needed in any of your previous roles
- Have experience working on your own and are comfortable with sales
The cranky bit ;) - You must have a home/office in an environment that can be quiet as needed (for calls) with proper broadband and a workable desktop or laptop. Noise cancelling headphones with a mic will be necessary. You will need to use various applications like Google Drive's apps and Skype. If you are interested in this position, it's important that you take the initiative to either learn how to use Skype and Google Apps properly before your start date or that you already have that knowledge. We will teach you the other tools that we use, but those two we expect you to know when you apply or to learn on your own time before you start.
Hours:
9:30am to 5pm UK time (BST/BDT)
10 freelance hours on average per week after your first month
Normal availability M-F, or at least 4 days during the week - availability somewhere between 9:30 to 5:00pm is best, we are slightly flexible though.
It would be ideal if you can check in at least twice a day - once in the morning time and once in the later afternoon, mid day if at all possible would be brilliant.
Excellent english, grammar & communication skills are required. This is a must! If your communication or CV are all over the place - it will discount you right away - sorry :/ !
You must be:
Able to work UK hours (UK based only please)
Reliable and punctual - we do not do no shows
Very professional but with a friendly attitude
Want a part time freelance role that may increase
Be looking for something genuine - we are building a virtual freelance team for the long term

This role is best suited to someone that is looking for a part time only, stable virtual position. This role doesn’t work well for someone that has various other VA positions or other engagements and is looking to add in some hours to their week.
