Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We are looking for someone to select and download approximately 500 images from Adobe repository of stock photos. The login credentials to the relevant Adobe account will be provided to the successful candidate.
We have a specific number of general categories in which we are looking for images. These categories are set out in the attached document. The principal current categories are (i) corporate, (ii) disputes, (iii) employment and pensions, (iv) tax and (v) brexit. Within these principal categories there are a number of sub-categories (see in italics in the attached document, e.g., “issues for directors”, “issues for shareholders”, “regulatory issues” etc.). We are looking for images that are relevant to these sub-categories (e.g. images that relate to civil fraud, images that relate to income tax, etc.).
We have already selected some images that fall within each of these sub-categories (i.e. we have already selected some images that are relevant to “issues for directors”, “issues for shareholders”, “regulatory issues” etc.). We will send these images to the successful candidate, for his/her reference. Broadly, you will see that the look we are going for is to choose photos that have a sense of humour and slight hipster feel. However, we are conscious that it will not be possible to find images that perfectly fit the mould in every case (there are only so many images that make people think of capital gains tax) and the most important thing is that the images are broadly appropriate for the relevant categories and have a consistent feel, as between themselves.
For the avoidance of doubt, please avoid images that could cause offense to users of the website (which is what this is intended for), that are derogatory to any type of person, that are violent or sexual, etc.
Given that we would like you to download 500 photos and there are 25 sub-categories, we would like you to download 20 images for each sub-category. The images should be different from one another, i.e. you should avoid downloading multiple copies of the same image. Although we would like you to take care selecting the images, to ensure the best possible fit for the website, given the large number of images we do recommend that you spend no more than 5 minutes selecting each individual image.
Once you have downloaded the images, please save them into individual folders named after the various sub-categories (e.g. the arbitration folder, the professional negligence folder, etc). Please then send these images back to us by email.
In terms of time spent on this and timings generally, we should be grateful if you could spend approximately 20 hours on this task. We should also be grateful if you could aim to complete this task within the next 2 weeks.
This task would suit a creative person, with a good eye for visuals and design. In the event that we are able to establish a good working relationship together, there is likely to be a very large amount of further work of this nature going, should you want it.
I hope this task is clear from the above, but if you have any questions please do let me know.
