A human resource research consultancy is currently looking for 2-3 receptionists / telephone assistants to play the role of a HR manager over the phone for a research piece.
Details of the job are as follows:
- You will be acting as HR manager of a company, and dealing with clients calls regarding past employee references
- You will be given a brief introduction about your role and possible contents to discuss over the phone (like a script). It includes your role, the employee's name, title, length of service etc. to share with the caller should they ask. The introduction should be 300 words long.
- You don't need to memorise the script, it is only a guide (although most information is already contained in it). But you might need to improvise on certain areas
- We expect you to receive no more than 2 phone calls in total, each lasting for approximately 10 minutes
- The total duration of the job should be no longer than 1.5 hours (including the time to read the script)
- We are willing to provide competitive renumeration for the job (£100-150 in total depending on experience)
- The key in the task is to act naturally as a HR manager providing basic employee information. It might require a very small amount of improvisation (as most information is provided by the script)
- It is a double blind research so you should not reveal your identity to the caller.
We would need:
- Someone who is based in the UK and can provide a reliable UK telephone number (either landline or mobile) during the research
- You to have had experience as a virtual assistant / receptionist handling client calls
- You to provide your own telephone number to us (the number will be kept strictly confidential and will be destroyed after finishing the job)
- You to be flexible. We are looking to engage you for the job within the next 1-2 weeks, and we will give you 1-2 days' notice by calling you beforehand
