We are looking for a pro-active virtual assistant to join our company. This position will suit only organisations with 2 or more VAs. ANY bids placed without reading the information below, and referring to it in the bid WILL be automatically rejected.
Providing support through order processing, customer service, responding to e-mails, answering phones, providing assistance to the Managing Director and generally 'being there' to support the business as required.
You will be offered a minimum of 4 hours per week; paid at £10.00 per hour initially with a review after 4 months, when we'd look to increase the rate. There is also a bonus scheme which will operate from the end of your second week.
You will be required to attend via online meetings, training on our systems, which will not be paid for a maximum of 1.5 hours over the first week.
You will need to provide support for us Monday-Friday, between 9:00am and 6:00pm. Our clients e-mail and call at random intervals throughout the day, so you will need to be (a) available throughout this period and (b) understand the flexibility of the work required. Our business is slightly seasonal and very unpredictable, therefore some weeks you will work only the minimum 4 hours, whereas others you may be expected to cover more hours. We make this clear from the offset, if this doesn't suit you - don't bid, we really don't have the time for timewasters. You will also be required to report how time was spent at the end of each week; and submit this report to us. A weekly hours cap will be in force, but removed by the MD when it is obvious more hours are required that week. Invoices will be paid monthly. We do not place large deposits, so if you request a large upfront deposit, your bid will be rejected.
Phone calls are processed using our VOIP service, so you will require a VOIP handset for which we will provide login details for so that you can make and receive calls on our behalf.
We've had our time wasted many times on this site before, so sorry if our ad is blunt but we need a decent VA who we can work with, and make the above points to ensure a smooth relationship going forward.
The successful VA will have the opportunity to work within a FANTASTIC team, with a well loved product/service and be well rewarded and appreciated.
