The tasks for this job will hopefully expand and I will give you more responsibility as time goes on, but to start with here are some of the tasks you must be excellent at:
- Supporting blogging tasks by researching content, managing my editorial calendar, finding suitable images and monitoring comments.
- Monitoring my mailing lists and supplying weekly summary reports.
- Creating an FAQ document for my website based on emails I will forward to you and on recordings I will dictate.
- Share documents with me through dropbox
- Performing SEO tasks on my website such as checking my ranking on Google and rewriting the relevant sections of the page
- Researching relevant start-up and business competitions (we want budget so I can hire you MORE)
I would like you to have AT LEAST the following characteristics, and please give me examples of how you respond to these in your initial application:
- Be punctual, diligent and ready to communicate with me whenever required
- Be realistic in estimating due dates for your work
- Have impeccable command of English in writing
- Know how to use Squarespace, MS Word, Dropbox, MS Excel, Mailchimp and at least one photo and video editing software programme
