The job is providing admin and PR support including the following; updating and adding contacts to our press list and trade database which will involve data entry, online research and emailing and cold calling contacts, uploading press releases and events to our website, updating content on our website, posting on our social media platforms, creating and logging press cuttings, scanning the internet for press coverage of our clients, creation of case studies using a photshop/paint etc, compiling PR status reports and end of year client reports, researching ideas for proposals, making travel arrangements and creating the programme document for press trips.
You will need to have excellent communication and organisation skills, be bilingual or a native English speaker, have a personable and professional email and phone manner, a high level of attention to detail, efficiency and accuracy, be able to quickly grasp new activities, work independently, be flexible and able to sometimes turn things around very quickly and at short notice. Experience of working in PR and comms would also be very useful.
You will need to have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, social media, photoshop/paint, word press websites and mail chimp..
You will be working for a small, busy, friendly wine PR agency.
I am looking for ongoing support so please only get in touch if you are available and looking for ongoing freelance work, you can start straightaway and you have a flexible amount of spare capacity. The amount of work will vary each week but on average will be about a day/week.
