Description
The meeting will run from 11am-3pm (3-4 hrs) approximately. (total timing is not know as it is not know how long the meeting might last- however it should be between 2-4 hours).
You would need to arrive 10-15 mins prior to the start of the meeting to get set up, and would be required to attend to take notes and record the meeting (you can use an app on your device), and then later send the recording (via Dropbox) of the meeting back to us by the next day.
You would subsequently, be required to produce a detailed summary of the meeting within 3 days’ time, which you would also send back to us via Dropbox. Note: we just require you to do the initial 1st draft, as there is no need to do an extensive edit, as the final edit and layout will be done this end, before it is sent back to the client for review. So its not a hard job, but easy as the clients are lovely to deal with, and you will be included in the posh lunch!!
Please respond stating:
your experience with minutes and transcriptions.
How long it would take you to transcribe a 2-4 hour meeting, and any other extra costs you might incur, such as travel costs.
In your proposal, please include the following:
-Your typing speed
-Whether you can do speed writing or shorthand
-Whether you have transcription equipment (or software),
- Whether your equipment includes a foot pedal
-Your hourly rate
-Your overall charge for this job.
-Your experience with Dropbox
Thank you for your interest in this job, and I look forward to receiving your proposals

Hi Linda,
I hope you are well.
Are there dial in facilities at this meeting? I am available to take minutes for this meeting remotely if there are facilities to do so. I have significant experience taking minutes in both a face-to-face and teleconference environment.
Many thanks,
Natalie -
I've only experience of this insofar as I've attended formal meetings and taken notes, but not as someone with that job title as such. There must be a recording app to download these days though and I'm based only 3 miles from there.
I'd draft formal notes from the transcription, not shorthand
Happy to assist if you can't find someone with a precise, formal background in this..
