I\'m Tom i\'m the MD of an online travel agency (www.ladsholiday.com) which specalises in large group bookings, its growing at a very rapid pace.
I need some help with some call taking, it\'s a bit more complicated than your normal message taking affair. \'Hi Company Name, x is not available...\'
We generally have 3 types of call coming in:
1) Holiday Enquiries - Customer has seen some of our advertising and is interested in a holiday. In this the operator would run through a series of questions with the customer, Where, When, How many people... etc and arrange a convenient time for someone to call them back to discuss it.
2) Payments For Holidays - We sell group holidays, the average size is around 20 passengers, and quite often they all want to pay individually - Admin Nightmare! We will setup a web based system for the operator to take the payments, the operator would fill in the web based form as they talk to the client.
3) Other Enquiry - Take a message, send via email to us.
Is this something you\'d be able to help with? Call volumes would be low-ish initially, but anticipate a huge rise in peak booking season, December-March.
